Samantha Brown Joins the Team at State 48 Law
SCOTTSDALE – State 48 Law Firm is pleased to announce that Samantha Brown has joined the firm.
“We feel very fortunate to have Sam as part of our team,” said State 48 managing partner Robbie Hendricks. “It is rare to find a young attorney of her intelligence and dedication. As a clerk she was eager to jump right in and after rejoining the team and now as a licensed attorney she has already proven herself invaluable. She has a very bright future ahead of her in the law.”
Originally from Michigan, Brown was offered a four-year free tuition scholarship from the University of Alabama, and she took full advantage of it. She graduated from the University of Alabama with a triple major in political science, Spanish, and international studies (with an emphasis on Latin America). She also minored in Latin American, Caribbean, and Latinx studies, and earned a certificate in global studies. Sam maintained a GPA that was above 4.0.
She then attended law school at Arizona State University. While in law school, Brown worked as a clerk at a personal injury firm, an insurance defense firm, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), and two different family law firms, including State 48 Law Firm. She was a teacher’s aide for a professional responsibility course, worked on Jurimetrics the University’s law, science, and technology journal, and performed mediations for Maricopa Justice Courts as part of the mediation clinic.
But it was her time at State 48 that really helped her see her path forward.
“I was lucky to join State 48 in law school,” Brown said. “During that time, I saw firsthand how much the firm cares about its clients as well as its employees. Even as a lowly extern, I was offered exciting opportunities daily, including interacting with clients and attending hearings.
“Since joining the firm as an attorney, these opportunities have only increased, and every day is an adventure. The workplace culture, work-life balance, and potential for personal and professional growth offered by State 48 is incomparable. I truly love my job!”
Brown has enjoyed learning and working alongside the firm’s other attorneys.
“My goal is for every client to feel understood, informed, and empowered throughout their matter,” Brown said.
